Disaster Services
Major disasters affect thousands of people as they occur throughout the country. Because of our proximity to the community and a constant awareness of the needs of the people who live here, The Salvation Army is among those first on the scene when disaster strikes. Personnel are trained to meet all kinds of emergencies by providing food, shelter, clothing and spiritual comfort to victims. The Salvation Army works cooperatively with emergency management personnel and many other organizations to form a team to help people through difficult times.
